Honest Heart Collective at The Mansion

September 19 at 8:30 p.m.

This Thunder Bay band brings their Grief Rights tour to Kingston, playing high-spirited rock-and-roll inspired by Bruce Springsteen and their hometown.

 

YGK Emerging Musician Competition at The Isabel Bader Centre for the Performing Arts

September 20 at 6:30 p.m.

Come see the six local finalists perform music of all genres (ranging from indie to jazz to Iranian classical) as they compete for $7,500 and the chance to record their own album at the Isabel with professional equipment.

 

Culture Days at The Tett Centre, Kingston School of Art, PumpHouse, and more

This nation-wide initiative encourages citizens to get involved in their city’s vibrant cultural fabric. See a lecture, attend a dance workshop, join business tours downtown, or participate in a range of creative learning sessions at the Tett, making anything from ceramics to hexaflexagons.

 

Oh Solo Wainwright: An Evening with Rufus at The Grand

September 28 at 7:30 p.m.

This world renowned singer, named “best songwriter on the planet” by Elton John, takes his solo tour to the Grand for “an evening with Rufus.”
