On Feb. 2, late in the evening, Queen’s administration reached a tentative collective agreement with its academic assistants through United Steelworkers (USW) Local 2010, Unit 01. 

The agreement, subject to a ratification process from both sides, took nine months to reach after beginning negotiations in June 2016. Details will remain confidential until ratification.
