Re: Queen’s Vagabond suspends production of Othello

Anyone who was actually threatened should have contacted the police. Those who disapproved of the casting should have criticized the director’s interpretation, after having carefully watched the play. The only thing artists should ever apologize for is making bad art–or betraying their muse, as Purdon and Rossiter have. It’s too bad that no one reminded Purdon and Rossiter that the show must go on.
