Oldie But A Goodie: Hello Dollies

My love of baking began when I was still in the single digits, and hello dollies was the first recipe I learned to make on my own. It requires quite a few packages of toppings, but there’s nothing wrong with having a stash of chocolate or butterscotch chips in your cupboard for future use and/or grazing. They take no time at all to make and are incredibly indulgent … bet you can’t eat just one.

Ingredients
1 ½ cups graham cracker crumbs
½ cup of butter
1 cup semisweet chocolate chips
1 cup butterscotch chips
1 cup flaked sweetened coconut
1/4 cup chopped pecans, toasted
½ can fat-free sweetened condensed milk

Directions
Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
Melt butter in microwave for 1 minute; add graham cracker crumbs and mix.
Gently pat mixture into an even layer in a greased pan.

Sprinkle pecans, chocolate chips, butterscotch chips and coconut.
Drizzle milk evenly over top.
Bake at 350° degrees for 25 minutes or until lightly browned and bubbling around the edges.

I highly recommend eating this with a big glass of milk. Enjoy!
