Team BGP announced Wednesday morning that TK Pritchard, their vice president of university affairs candidate, will be absent from the campaign trail as he deals with a personal emergency.

The remaining team members, presidential candidate Eril Berkok and vice-president of operations candidate Peter Green, will continue their campaign efforts in Pritchard’s absence.

“At this point we plan to move forward as originally planned, obviously we want to do as much as we can to support T.K. at this time, but our goal remains to engage and to talk students as much as possible for the remainder of the campaign,” the team said in a statement to the Journal.

BGP will be releasing any additional information as it becomes available.
