Inspiration is found in the most unlikely places.

My experience with Jane Fonda exemplifies the dangers of making assumptions. Until recently, I had pegged Jane Fonda as a typical celebrity with an ever-evolving career, famous for her leotards and iconic hair. It turns out, however, that Jane Fonda is much more than an actress or fitness guru. It started with me heading about Jane Fonda’s protest stunt in North Vietnam, a controversial move that revealed her seated on a missile launcher. I did a double take — Jane Fonda? The same one referenced in Mickey Avalon’s one hit wonder? But I, like many, misunderstood her as a public figure.
My experience reiterated the dangers of judging by appearance. Here are some reason’s as to why Jane Fonda’s more than just a pretty face.
