Richardson Stadium to host drive-through COVID-19 vaccine clinic

Richardson Stadium will be used as a drive-through COVID-19 first dose vaccine clinic on Wednesday evening.

Kingston, Frontenac, and Lennox and Addington (KFL&A) primary care is offering 500 doses of the vaccine in the parking lot from 5-8 p.m. to individuals aged 55 and over.

Those attending the clinic are instructed to wear a mask and a t-shirt.

Though appointments are currently booked, those eligible for the vaccine are encouraged to check the booking website again Wednesday afternoon in the case that additional vaccines become available. More spots may be added at that time.

The Journal has reached out to Queen’s for more information about the use of this space and whether Richardson Stadium will continue to be used for mass vaccination going forward.
