Sustainability Week at Queen's

Sustainability Week returns to Queen’s next week, as students hope to address different elements of environmental sustainability, including local food, transportation, climate change, energy and waste.

The weeklong event will take place around campus and Kingston from Oct. 19 to 23.

The program includes the Arts and Science Undergraduate Society (ASUS) Environmental Justice & Sustainability Showcase, Greenovations Lightbulb Exchange and the Earth Centre Clothing Swap. 

It will also include a Wolfe Island Farm tour, which allows participants visit a bakery, and an information session about wind energy in Canada. 

The week is catered to students interested in careers in the renewable energy industry or learning about sustainability issues.
