Team AmPLify voted next CESA Executive Team

Team AmPLify was voted CESA’s next executive on Feb. 12. 

The team is comprised of Alexis Pascoal (President), Lexie Ingoldsby (Vice-President Internal) and Paris Tomazic (Vice-President External), all ConEd ’23. 

The group ran against Team BluEJay, which was composed of Presidential candidate John Habib, Vice-Presidential (External) candidate Esther Eisen, and Vice-Presidential (Internal) candidate Brendan Lerant, all ConEd ’22.

Team AmPLify expressed their gratitude for Team BluEJay and an “excellent” campaign period.

“Everyone who ran brought super strong campaigns,” Pascoal told The Journal, referring to the elections process as a whole. “It was such an honour to run against such a passionate team.” 

“[Team BluEJay] did an incredible job and we’re looking forward to […] making sure their voices are heard too and implementing their ideas as well [as our own].” 

Pascoal said the team wants get started implementing their initiatives right away. 

“We’re all very eager and ready to dive right in,” said Pascoal.

Team BluEJay told The Journal they will continue to support students in other capacities next year.

“We would like to wish Team AmPLify success in their new roles,” Team BluEJay said. “We will continue to advocate for the betterment of students in any and all roles we pursue next year.”
