The employee who ran the Kings of Queen’s Facebook page, which featured posts targeting Queen’s students and spreading anti-women messages, no longer works at the University.

The former employee’s name has been removed from Queen’s staff directory. The University declined to comment on whether the individual was fired over the Kings of Queen’s Facebook page.

“We can confirm he is no longer employed at Queen’s,” Mark Erdman, Queen’s manager of community relations, wrote in a statement to The Journal. “We will not discuss Human Resources matters.”

The former employee’s LinkedIn profile has also been taken down. The Journal reported in November that the Facebook page, which has since been removed, contained dozens of posts and images—including those of Queen’s students—that ranged from describing feminism as a mental illness to claiming campus sexual violence statistics are falsified.

When The Journal first contacted the former employee last November, the individual denied any knowledge of the Facebook page. The employee was still working at Queen’s as of Jan. 17, at which point the individual’s contact information was still available on Queen’s staff directory.
