Queen’s remembers Jack Quipp

The Queen’s community remembers the impact and legacy of Jack Quipp, Sci ’23. Quipp passed away on Oct. 25.

Quipp is remembered by his classmates as passionate about his field of study, mine-mechanical engineering. His peers described him as an intelligent and positive presence.

He’s being remembered for his meaningful interactions with many members of the university community.

Originally from St. Thomas, Ontario, Quipp graduated from St. Joseph’s High School. He is survived by his parents Adam and Janina, his sister Eadie, his extended family, and the many friends he has made at Queen’s. 

Quipp’s funeral will take place Nov. 2, with visitations held on Nov 1.

Kevin Deluzio, Dean of Engineering, and Ann Tierney, Vice-Provost and Dean of Student Affairs will attend the service. 

Quipp will be missed across campus.
